  well for some time now i have been having back pain.

  i have been on pain meds now for about 4 years.

  a few weeks ago the pain was so bad i ended up in the emergency room.

  You need to 'host' the picture. Do this:

  • go to www.tinypic.co
  • Upload you picture by using the 'browse' button and select your picture (the 'tag' just means to give it a name)
  • Click the 'host image' button
  • go to the bottom, you'll see your picture and highlight the 'URL' address
  • Come back to JWD, find the thread and hit 'reply'
  • There's an icon, just left of the smiley face, it looks like a letter with a stamp on it and a link, click it and paste the highlighted URL address, then click 'ok' and it will appear

  the bible talks about life and many truths.

  from beginning to end.. there is history in the bible.. jesus is the creator.. if he made adam and eve at the beginning then, they could not have evolved.

  further, if evolution were true, why are there any monkeys left?

  Strange but TRUE

  ha ha i was laughing just now, had a strange memory.. when stepdad was away and/or when mum was playing the male role of jw head of household she used to cover her head.

  anything...a hat, a scarf, tea towel (no lie!!)..

  this was i think from the reasoning book or something, but yeh...covering her head out of respect for jehovah.

  Hey the sisters in old hall were "talked to" because they did not have a head covering during the service arrangement in the a.m. and they put a book on their head.

  My first language is spanish so I comunicate much better in spanish and there are so many topics that I don't participate because of the language.

  You've got to be kidding. Usted escribe ingles perfectemente. (translation - I think : You write English perfectly)

  please partake at the memorial, it only makes sense.. it will also screw-up the statistics!!.

  I've never been a dub. A few years ago my JW friend invited me to the memorial, explaining the service and who would partake - those having the 'heavenly hope' , yada, yada, yada. Just before they started passing the emblems, I leaned over to my friend and said, "you know, according to my beliefs, I DO have the heavenly hope" .... you should have seen their eyes .... not knowing if I were going to take the emblems or not (hehe .... I didn't)

  Going to Memorial Service for the first time.....what should we expect?

  we spent 6 months "studying" with a jw couple.

  they claimed the wts had all the answers, but they actually couldn't answer any of our questions.

  (we are devoted born-again bible-believing christians.).

  I think that before you decide to go to the Kingdom Hall, ask the people that gave you study if they would consider going to visit you at your Church. Once you hear their response, you will know better if you should even go... or not.

  If you do ask them, PLEASE report back their stumbling response.
